When I was a kid buying back-to-school outfits, it was still the days of “GAP” sweatshirts (you know ,the kind that just had “GAP” written on the front in huge letters.) Mine was baby-blue. And fuzzy. Nowadays we have stores like “Crewcuts” whose adorable catalog I based this illustration from! A big improvement in fashion, even if I still miss the comfortable familiarity of my old favorite.
